     Helpful Homework Reminders

  • Homework is assigned as a means of practicing and reinforcing skills learned in class.
  • Occasionally homework might include a new concept to pre-teach material.
  • Science students are also given time at home to complete/edit lab reports before turning in because labs are test grades.  Be careful not to lose these.
  • If you were absent, this page provides some information, but please check in with your teachers to see what else you missed, particularly labwork.
  • Complete homework to the best of your ability.  Instead of leaving blanks, write what you think is a correct or partially correct answer, or write a question you would like the teacher to answer in order to help you understand the assignment.  In math, a teacher can help more easily if they can see your mistakes.  Do not leave blanks.
  • All math homework starts with a heading (page, problems and date).  Number the problem, write the original problem, show your work and circle your answer.  Word problems and science lab problems require units.
